Coming up on Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th June is your chance to see visiting South Eastern & Chatham Railway O1 No. 65 and British Railways Ivatt tank No. 41313 operating alongside Bulleid Pacific 34072 ‘257 Squadron’, Hunslet Austerity No. 2890 ‘Douglas’ and Caledonian Railway Class 812 No. 828.
Tickets are discounted online so it is cheaper to book in advance rather than waiting to purchase on the day, you also avoid queues at ticket offices.
The timetable for this event is now in the final stages of checking and it’ll be published later this week but you can expect trains from 08:30 both days until 22:40 Saturday and 18:50 Sunday.
The Ivatt tank and the O1 will be working from the start to end of each operating day and we’ve slotted in some double heading, triple heading and of course our popular Queen Mary Brake Van too!
SECR O1 No. 65 is appearing courtesy of the Bluebell Railway and Ivatt tank No. 41313 is appearing courtesy of the Isle of Wight Steam Railway.
