Our visit to Fishers Farm Park
Fishers Farm Park in West Sussex, is one of those cool farm adventure parks you hear about, and cant wait to visit, and when you visit – you are in for a real treat.
Spread over quite a large area, the layout of the farm is easy to follow, and is split into different areas for the kids and young at heart to explore.
We visited at Halloween, and everything was decorated in a spooky theme, and the main attraction was the ghost train. My eldest two children couldn’t wait to go on it, but my youngest didn’t want to go !
There are rope walks set amongst the trees, which my kids insisted we attempt – they left me carrying the bags, and the ropes were wobbling (with the help of my children !) and I just about made it down.
The mini golf was a great way to spend some time, although we had to wait a little while for a group of kids to return with the golf balls !
There are plenty of picnic areas, so on a sunny day it is fantastic to sit down and let the kids explore the many play areas, sandpits and climbing frames.
One place my kids all enjoyed was the animal encounters – a chance to stroke snakes, toads etc.
The highlight of the day, has to be the Alpine Adventure Cresta Fun Toboggan Run – imagine climbing to the top of a great big hill carrying a big doughnut, and carrying your kids doughnut too – and then sitting on the doughnut and hurtling down the hill – this was so much fun, and even better when I and my kids raced each other !
The Cresta Fun Toboggan Run can be seen from the car park – and my kids wanted to try it as soon as they saw it from the car.
The other highlight was the Summit Plummet – climbing a huge spiders web of elastic bands and trying to get to the top without falling down !
The award-winning family visitor attraction is located in Wisborough Green on the edge of the South Downs National Park, in the heart of the West Sussex countryside.
They are open all year from 10.00 – 5.00 and the daily activities are included in the one admission price, making a day at Fishers superb value for money.
