Harumika is an award winning, unique, fun and easy to use toy that combines art and craft as well as fashion and it's been a big hit with budding fashionistas since its launch in 2009.

The simple design technique is easy to pick up and provides hours of creative fun. Young designers can create their very own line of bespoke couture designs without the need for any needles, thread, glue or scissors. It works by layering, folding and customising fabrics and accents using the silicon strip at the back of the dress form. All the materials and accessories are reusable so the possibilities are endless – if you don't like your design just start all over again!

What we thought:

My daughters' eyes lit up when she saw this on television. And the fact that you can make your own costumes and be a real fashion designer is something that appeals to most girls.

My daughter spent a happy afternoon creating designs, pretending that she was designing for pop stars and then creating more designs.

What is really great is that the range is ever expanding so you can make more costumes and this is something that will make this something girls of all ages will love.

Harumika is available now from Argos, Hobbycraft, Entertainer, John Lewis, Smyths, Tesco, Toymaster, Toys R Us and other good toy stores.
