Horrible Histories - Barmy Britain - Part One! review

I was lucky enough to take my 2 children, aged 5 1/2 and 11 along to see Horrible Histories - Barmy Britain - Part One.

Having seen the show on television with my kids, I kind of knew that it was slapstick humour for kids, with the emphasis on learning and teaching them about history - The show did this in a fantastic way.

There were just 2 actors on stage for the whole of the hour, changing costumes and slight scenery changes, presenting the barmy and ridiculous people from Britain's history.

My youngest wasn't sure about whether he would like it, but as soon as the actors were on stage, both my kids were enthralled and were laughing out loud.

A brilliant show, led by 2 brilliant actors. I, and my kids, can't wait for Part Two!
